Events
Every month there is a talk on some aspect of the history of Camden or of London in general, free to members but open to non-members for a £1 entry fee. These are usually on the third Thursday of every month, but occasionally on another day depending on the availability of venues and speakers. Warning of a change in the usual timing is given in the Newsletter a month or two in advance.
The talks always start at 7:30pm and last 45-50 minutes, with time for question and comment afterwards. Doors open 7pm, at various venues within the Borough. Royal Free buildings from Hatton Garden to Hampstead

Neil McIntyre, Emeritus Professor of Medicine, Royal Free Hospital, is engaged in writing a history of the Royal Free and its Medical School. Both institutions have spent their entire life in what is now the London Borough of Camden. Drawing on the extensive archival material to which he has access, Dr McIntyre will describe and explore the buildings, their architecture and design, occupied by the Royal Free from its very earliest days up to the present.
