| UCS has been in the borough of Camden since its inception in Gower Street (as part of UCL) in 1830. In 1907, having outgrown its premises, it moved to two greenfield sites in Hampstead - for the Junior school in Holly Hill and the Senior school in Frognal. The talk will be given by Nigel Watson, who has been commissioned to write what will be the third history of the school (the other two being in 1930 and 1980) and who will travel down from his home in Yorkshire to give the talk at the school. Present pupils and their relatives will also be present, as will the current headmaster, Mr Kenneth Durham. The school is about 10 minutes? walk from Hampstead Tube station. |
