The demolition and increasing dereliction of the Railway Lands after the mid-1960s created a wasteland that was a reminder of industrial decline as well as both a threat and an opportunity for neighbouring communities. Artists felt the power and saw the beauty in the industrial ruins, as Peter Darley will illustrate in his talk.
Peter Darley is Secretary of the Camden Railway Heritage Trust, which he founded in 2007.
