Camden in old postcards: an illustrated Zoom talk by Martin Sheppard

What did Camden look like before the First World War? The best answer can be found in the many striking photographic postcards dating from 1902 to 1914. These show a great range of the buildings as they were then and also record many buildings which no longer exist. They also provide tantalising images of everyday life in a world still almost without cars.

Martin Sheppard is the author of Primrose Hill: a history.
